Transformers

We went to go see Transformers over the weekend. We have been waiting for it to come out, since last summer. They filmed part of it here, at white sands, on base, and at the old saw mill. It was nice to see our little town on the big screen. Jon and the company that he works for did all the phone lines for the movie crew. We forgot to look for them in the film credits. We didn't meet anyone from the film while they were here in town, but we did hear a rumor about one of them being extremely rude to a waitress because she asked for an autograph, after he had his meal. He called her "backwoods"
12 years ago when they filmed Mad Love here, I got to meet Drew Barrymore, she was really friendly to me when all the people around her were mean to me. If only all movie stars could remember if it wasn't for fans they wouldn't have a job.
Anyway, we loved the movie. It had some funny parts in it. I was glad to see that bumblebee got an upgrade from a slugbug to a camaro.
